The Ambrose is right at the back of the ground, stayed there a couple of seasons ago for the weekend. Great place to stay, fabulous food had a great weekend and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend a visit.

Better yet, use the Raiders bar and support rugby league.
Have a meat and potato pie with chips and gravy from the Raiders snack bar too!

Last time we (Hornets) were up there our bus dropped us at the Ambrose, we all had a great meal and they had 5 or 6 specialist real ales on tap, we had a great day. Well fed, well watered and a game of Rugby League to boot, can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon
