I hope this decision is not a reflection of future misconduct verdicts. In the 79th min of the Barrow v Keighley "friendly" 2 weeks ago, James Feather, the Keighley fullback has been given a 1 match ban for " Shoulder charge to the head of the ball carrier"..Indeed, there was a shoulder charge to the head, what the panel did not take into account was that Liam Campbell the " ball carrier" was at least 10 mts away from the ball, looking in the opposite direction from the "assault", therefore having no means to protect his self. Liam was laid prone for minutes and eventually had to be led from the field. The "assault" was so far away from play the referee missed it and was so placed on report. The "shoulder charge" can be seen on the NWEM video of the game, so the RFL had all the evidence it needed. It is a scandalous verdict to give only a 1 match ban and gives carte blanche to any thug that wishes to seriously injure an opponent. Players need to be protected and backed by the disciplinary board or the players will take their own retribution.

"Things don't seem to be going badly for the RL side of things at Leeds Rugby....."

How is it benefiting RL? Or is your point it's not actually doing anything damaging! I must admit I don't quite know what point you're making nor the other person who simply said Wigan and Orrel. Are these proof that ru has been good for RL ? You do both know that they are competitors not friends in sport!

An illegal tackle on the head on a man not looking who didnt actually touch the ball and the ball was ten metres away which could of ended his season.

1 match is sufficient.
