This is because, as we are constantly told, what decides who is successful in football is what happens on the pitch.

oh, yes he has...oh no he hasn't !

The club would like to make it clear that Brian McDermott remains our first team manager. He has not been dismissed from his post as has been suggested and we look forward to him continuing in his role with us in taking Leeds United forwards.

A bigger cause for concern is that the club has just been sold to a man who has two convictions for fraud.

It turns out that he hasn't been sacked and still in charge of the team. It's never dull at Leeds Utd!!

Absolutely no chance in hell that this Italian bloke will pass the FA's 'fit and proper' screening for club ownership. He's already been turned down by them twice following similar bids to buy other clubs.

Don Cellino two fraud convictions

Owen Oysten owner of Blackpool convicted of rape, served a prison sentence.Deemd by FA to be fit and proper person.

Thaksin  Shinawatra has been convicted by Thailands court criminal division for holders of political positions of abusing his power to help his buy public land at an auction, and was sentenced to two years in jail.Various charges await him if he returns to Thailand. He was also deemed by FA as fit and proper

So let us so let us not talk falsely now.
The hour is getting late
FROM 2004,TO DO WHAT THIS CLUB HAS DONE,IF THATS NOT GREATNESSTHEN i DONT KNOW WHAT IS.

I think you will find the 'fit and proper' test can be overridden by the 'proper rich' test.

Thought Blackpool was owned and run by the son not the father. Frank was convicted after leaving City wasn't he?
