Why are they not having the sound from the vr?
It worked very well last year.
I like the additionof the graphic lines, have said for years they should do this.

Roosters are going to smash this Wigan side!
PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF http://www.rugbyleaguecares.org/ and http://www.walesrugb...-wales-for-2013
Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

I promise to pay 10 to the charity of Bomb Jacks choice if Widnes Millionaires finish above the battling underdogs Crusaders RL. I OWE A TENNER!

Lot of messing fromWigan. They look slightly off the pace early on.

Interesting that the VR announces the reason to the crowd.

Sarginson has looked sharp.

Sky usually like to put there own spin on things. Eddie hailed this as something "brand new" so maybe they left it out for that reason. Wouldn't be surprised if it sneaked in later in the season.

Hudds looking good at the moment, Wigan not properly in this yet.

Normally most of the talking is the ref to the video controller so I suppose the new system has by passed it. Don't see why the video ref can't comment on what he's looking at though. "First thing I'll look at is the offside, that seems fine,so I'll check the grounding".

Cruel and nasty looking injury to Patrick, been one of the best players up to now.

Yeah, the conversation isn't there between the ref and video controller anymore.

But like you say, he could still "commentate" on what he's doing. In fact, he'd have to anyway so the other ref in there knows what he's checking and whether he agrees.

Would be interesting if there's a dispute! Shame we wouldn't hear it.

Hope you don't mean for the last try? And Cudjoe has just been too good for Wigans left hand defence.

I think Hudds may come to regret Danny Brough's missed kicks. Could be 19-0

I do like the emphasis on the SL trophy in the graphics, by the way. The trophy is massively pushed in their football coverage. It's what you're playing for at the end of the day and should be a constant reminder. I'm saying all this yet I bet I've just completely missed it being used in previous years!

Thank God they've sorted out the microphone issue! Jon Wells looks like a WWE official ready to cut a promo!

It has been used a bit in previous years, maybe not as much. It is a new graphic this season though, first time it's been spruced up in a number of seasons. Looks good.
