What's happening as of 2015 with our academies? Will the under 23s be restored? Anyone know any details?

I thought there was going to be 10 academies basically the best of the current ones. Then after that clubs could apply to be centres of excellence but would need to be linked to a school or a college. Not sure if that's still the case though.

Yes that is the case at Under 19 level (plus a Championship South Under 19).

 

What is not decided is whether there'll be an U23 optional competition for clubs in the top 2 divisions

Yes that is the case at Under 19 level (plus a Championship South Under 19).
