Quite an interesting article on RLWC13 in regard to social media trends and interests for RL over the last decade

and the impact of RLWC13

Some good stuff in there, if a touch basic. I would have preferred to see the search graphs shown with a cluster of words chosen (rugby league, super league, rlwc, rfl etc) - whilst the results suggest a downward trend, it would have been interesting to have some context around this - the way people search changes over time - 10 years on from the start of that graph, maybe people actually know exactly where to go for their RL fix - I probably never search for 'rugby league'.

The last graphic showing the most searches for Rugby League World Cup is worthy of more investigation as that suggests that actually some Aussies were interested! I would be stunned if more people interacted with the internet for RLWC features in Fiji and PNG that the UK though, and that is why I think it is a touch basic.
