Batley don't have a DR arrangement with Huddersfield, they have a "unique and innovative partnership agreement" which in simple terms means they can play at least 5 shuddersfield players in a supposedly meaningless boxing day run out against a local team........

Red Amber Black - Its that simple

Correct!!!

Correct!!!

I assume now we are back to default mode, we've done with the fastest man thingy ? If we've not, then over fifty meters, I doubt many will catch Thackeray. Certainly a much quicker squad overall this year,

Jesus didn't realise I was trying to entertain the max bygraves record collectors club

I'll break it down for the you

You were been criticised for been on our forum... Which could be regarded as snoopin... Get it??

Dogging as your favourite pastime with piggy in Batley park.

And your a Batley fan... So your a dog

In popular music ( that's anything after Glenn Miller) ;)
There is a artist called snoop doggy dog

Which sounds very simular to the name I called you

Now do you get it???

I wonder if I'd had to break down a sketch about a dead parrot... Would it still be funny

Ahead of their time

Just like me ;) ;)

Ah now that clarifies things.

What's Jesus got to do with it?

Heres the scenario, 17 players lined up under the posts at the bottom end of the ground, at the scoreboard end under the posts is a 4 pack of finest Melton Mowbray Pork Pies, the hooter sounds and in a flash 17 players are racing upfield, they all get to the other end within a whisker of each other only to find that GFDU got there 3 seconds earlier and is already scoffing on Pie No 4

   - he'd be behind me though. That little fat bloke who played fullback for Wigan last night against Batley's feeder club must have been on the same diet.

Whatever "The Dog's" (didn't he used to be on American Idol) intentions were in his foray on to this forum, he at least succeeded in changing the subject.  Perhaps that's because he can't think of anyone other than John Etty who, good player though he was, couldn't really spoil walking.

So let's put this topic to bed by confirming that THE fastest player EVER on Dewsbury's books was called Geoff Yoward, who was a Powderhall sprinter.

Very nice guy as well.

If only Nigel Stephenson had been half as fast...
