Milford play S London Chargers in London for the next round don't they?  Glad to see non-traditional teams still in the mix.

Tough conditions for both sides on a very tight pitch. Either Uphill with the wind or downhill against it. Old school winter game that needed both sides to battle. Both sides probably did enough to be worthy winners and it was certainly tough on Shaw Cross that the came up on the losing side. Made up with the way our lads dug deep and in particular the two 17 year olds on debut including the lad that scored the winner - even if he did have to find an extra turn of pace to catch up with the pass!

SINGING MY MUM'S A .......

I don't want to sound like I've got sour grapes. It was a great, tough, old fashioned game. I'm sure I'll enjoy watching the DVD now I'm over the loss!! As I said on the day, I wish you luck in the next round.

Mayfield 28 Wigan st.Pats 36. St.Pats were 24-0 after about 20 minutes but Mayfield came back and showed some real fighting spirit in an exciting game.
