I think a couple of Injurys and players not quite ready yet have made the choice slightly easier than it would normally be but I will go with

5. Saxton
6. Bussey

I think the coach has gone for the extra forward all way through pre season which has paid dividends and I cannot for the life of me seeing him drop a forward from the bench for a utility. Dewsbury is a narrow track and I am sure he will be looking to play the same tactics on sunday

The only difficult choices for me are Tommy or Jamel on the wing, and Hellewell or Cording at centre. Cording must be in the seventeen, at 3, 13 or on the bench, but where is the big question?

1. Hardman (if fit, Sunley or Mendeika if not)

2. Sharp

3. Hellewell

4. Worthington

5. Chisholm/Saxton

6. Bussey

7. Moore

8. Crossley

9. Flanagan

10. Hirst

11. Lockwood

12. Spears

13. James

14. Ellis

15. Cording

16. Dale

17. Bostock

I think its too close to call between Tommy and Jamel, the new boy seems to be favourite but conditions may decide the final choice?

My guess is that Tommy is back in pole position after Chisholm bombed that try against Fax, especially with the skipper screaming for the ball inside. Chisholm is exciting for the future but still very raw and needs more coaching.

We might see Cording in the centre this weekend but I think he'll be in the pack long-term; either way, Etu is surely going to fill the other centre slot once he's settled in. If Cording plays in the pack this weekend, it's a tough call between Hellewell & Mendeika at centre, thought Mendeika has done well so far though Hellewell didn't do anything wrong either.

Hope they are patient with Briggs and Kain. It's a long season.

I would be interested to hear others opinion but I prefer Ellis coming of the bench, as he has an impact without fail. Regarding the centre spot, Hellewell's aticipation and tackling has been phenomenal.

From what I've heard, the shirt numbers 1-16 are:- 1 Ian Hardman; 2 Will Sharp; 3 Greg Worthington; 4 Ben Hellewell; 5 Jamel Chisholm; 6 Jack Bussey ; 7 Gareth Moore; 8 Steve Crossley; 9 Andy Ellis; 10 Keegan Hirst; 11 James Lockwood; 12 Tim Spears; 13 Matt James; 14 George Flanagan; 15 Matthew Dale; 16 Andrew Bostock.

Long term casualty Matt Nicholson is 17, so, assuming JB has allocated the numbers, I would tip the squad to be 1-16 and Jamie Cording, who is no.18.

That is the squad I would have picked anyhow, with the only exception possibly being Tommy in for Jamel if it's muddy? I might have picked Cording at centre, but I've a feeling he will come on at loose at some stage.

That looks spot on top me. I think Mendeika will get the fullbasck role.
