Ok what are you all expecting from the game on sunday?

I think it will be a tough game but i believe we have what it takes to just edge the victory by 1 score.

Leigh 12 - Batley 18

attendance around 1800

I also think it will be close, but think a 22.16 victory to the dogs is on the cards, alot depends on the official reffing of mr thomason and co too.

And you guys talk about OUR confidence!

We're hoping for a bigger gate too - there seems to be more interest about town and, given your confidence, I expect a significant number of Bulldogs fans to make the trip.

Im not sure our best 17 is ratified and we still need to achieve a better degree of intensity.

for what its worth blacks temporary sideline could be a blessing in disguise.

the 20 nowt loss still seems an awkward memory as do the various televised stirling efforts at lsv

The most unfashionable yet over achieving mutts around

See over confidence bordering on arrogance again. Batley by one, 2575 with 150 from Batley.

Reality...this could go horribly wrong for us as our last couple of visits (prior to play-off) have been pretty paltry efforts, 23-6 and 20-0, however the 24-18 will still be in our memory as well. Depends on a number of things..who scores first or early, and how long the game stays close, and can we keep Ridyard and Brierly (assuming that's their halfback pair) quiet. Whichever way JK plays our 6&7 I think they also have the flair to pull it our way. I'd go for 4/6 points either way.

If I am being honest, I think we might find it hard,as we usually do early on in the season there, so am expecting a defeat. Lots of teams are unknown entities this season however, that I wouldn't be surprised whatever the outcome.

Yeah I think a narrow defeat at their place with us nicking a bonus point 18 -10 Leigh

Now where did I leave that pointy thing that bloke Damocles gave me, I've work to do!

Always tough at Leigh, always impressed by Brierley and I still worry about our mental block against the top 4. Rarely seen us play well over there, never mind win - but that made that wet afternoon last September all though more sweet! I would love to be still in the game with 15 mins to go, with the conditions wet and windy. I would fancy us then.

I have seen us win four times at the LSV so not too bad a record really.

A Batley win and an inquest on the Leigh forum about how they could lose to 'a team like batley' and demanding sackings and changes as per.
What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

8-4 to Batley. With the weather and a heavy pitch expecting alot of one man rugby from both sides and a low scoring game.

The pitch shouldn't be heavy - it's usually in great condition. So don't go bringing any of that Yorkshire weather with you.
