Sounds like it was a tight one. Well done Dewsbury.

1118 at the Racecourse to see the Crusaders win in spite of having a player red-carded, which didn't seem to make a scrap of difference. And hats off to the ground staff as the pitch was in excellent condition.

Great opening win for Leigh today and not a bad crowd of 2173. Roll on next week at Barrow.

following the Bulldogs over to Leigh - reading their RLFans.com forum some of the Leigh fans appear to think itll be a cakewalk - will be nice to go there and wipe the smiles off their faces.

Not quite then....! Must admit I fancied Leigh by 15-20 but never in my wildest dreams would have seen a win like that.

Was surprised how much Batley's heads dropped towards the end, certainly something you wouldn't associate with a Kear team.

Cracking result and we scored some top drawer tries, and the scary thing is we looked quite sluggish for the first 10-15 minutes of each half. Would think Batley will still be there or thereabouts.

It's not back this year - we have "R" but only 1 "P" from Champ One, where we had 2 up last year.

Doubt it , more likely down to better marketing and a good investment in players during the off season.
