Much worse. Those that saw him last year at DP ( struggling to remember who it was against now) will recall an utterly inept and inconsistent performance that probably did lose us the game.

he reffed batley at DP last season. Never looked up and down the line once when batley were defending hence they were on top of us all the game

Similar to keighley at home with Briscoe and Carter covering at the back . Worked pretty well. Not so keen on shoving a game breaker out on the flank for us offensively wise , but it helps defensively .

Agreed and agreed , but that comes down to how you play from the centre I guess . A winger can get 30 tries in the right team , but we need our best guys round the middle a bit more as we don't give the flankers much quality ball or space . Maybe we're shoring up defensively first . Dunno.

Red can't complain he's had a good shot to impress . Rooney is superior in that 2nd row / centre cover spot.

Star says Mossop and Carter 'return to the fray' ... So with just Miller injured then where does Mossop fit in , as the Wigan lads are still there ?

Good Luck to The Barker & Lupton combination today, enjoy the opportunity to test your game plans out against The wily Mr. Kear!
We have a team with tremendous individual talent and potential, however, in the words of Michael Jordan - "individual skills wins admiration and praise but only teamwork and following game plans win matches!"
Enjoy the game Town, play for each other, I for one will be cheering you all the way!

Totally agree, 100% support. Up the Town.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
