Hello,

Danish rugby league are looking to obtain a set of goal posts.  Any advice?  Good suppliers?  Cheap Suppliers?  We would have to take them up and down each time.

Thanks,

Steve

We bought some hinged posts that are easy to take up and down. Bear in mind that the socket is in the ground and may have to be covered in some way to accommodate other sports/ground users.

Ours cost under 1000 BUT we had to pay the same again for installation of the concrete bases - we could have skimped on this but we would be responsible if the posts fell on anyone.

At Eccles we had a problem with the local little darlings destroying our posts so we went to the council yard and bought 2 metal lamp posts, installed them in the ground ourselves and welded a cross bar on - No more vandalism!
