Nice to get a home draw for a change.  A warm welcome to our visitors from Pilks Rec.

Really looking forward to this. No idea what day it will be though. Fingers crossed for Saturday but will people stay away with it being 6 nations?

I expect it will be Sunday as that is Crusaders usual game day. Pilkingtons play on Saturdays but Crusaders get the choice as the home team. I wouldn't think many if any Rugby League fans would prefer to stay at home to watch Rugby Union. We might lose a few "undecided" because it is the National teams.

Well I think the RU agreement has died a death.. unless of course there are England or Ireland RU fans!

Wales have lost their crown as  6N champions and I for one don't want to watch endless repeats of Englands win over Wales with Woodward and Inverdale gloating like hungry vultures.

Respect o Pilkington Recs. Their players did them proud on the pitch playing some great rugby with a 'never say die' attitude and their fans did them proud on the terraces (and in the hospitality box) entering into the 'who's got the best kicker' sing off. Brilliant.

I don't think NW Cru played particularly well and if they made that many errors against a Championship side could expect to get punished ever harder. Dalimore was the exception and was easily MotM in my book.

Looking forward to the next round draw to see if we get a SL team, if we get a home draw, if we get a big payday or if we can claim a big scalp.

We were too casual - expecting things to happen instead of making them happen. Will have to be far more switched on at Leigh. Whilst I am very pleased for Pilks, as a big fan of amateur RL, I am disappointed that we only won the second half 22-14 after taking such a healthy half time lead. Very disappointed with the attendance.

I also thought the Pilk's lads did a good job for their club. We were poor at time and will definitely have to shape up next week against Leigh. Had a good laugh with the lads in the hospitality box behind us, especially when a pigeon up in the roof shat on one of their brand new trainers , priceless!!
