According to this morning's LE, it's a halfback that JK is excited about and hoping to get on board.

For the benefit of Windogs - If it turns out to be Andy Kain, then im genuinely excited.

I would be too, would love him in our team. Always a danger when he's played against us.

I doubt hardman would be one for a number of reasons. firstly do you need a full back ? probably not, secondly he is the vice captain and is firmly in the coaches plans. He was out injured for the first 2games and i guess the coach could not drop mendeika after a couple of top performances.Lastly he is one of the full time players working in the community and in a few months gets married to the chairmans daughter.taking all this into account I doubt there is a shred of truth in this'rumour'

he was actually at the batley game yesterday so that speaks alot in itself

You may be right but the fax fans took that as a sign that he was joining them.

Maybe he just fancied a day out?

Unfortunately I wasn't, but I expect a call any time now. If JK needs a 50 y.o. 'slightly' overweight trundler with high blood pressure, then I'm his man!

Just please refrain from getting sent off for a high shot on Sunday DD, despite it being close to the 20 year anniversary of a 50 year old trundler doing the same against Doncaster at the Mount.

JK said hoping to announce something on Tuesday after the game Sunday - its now Tuesday and its all very quiet.

Anyone any ideas if anything is happening signing wise?

I watched it a week or so on FB 9'oller, and even 20 years on I found it hard to conceal my disappointment and the memories of actually being in tears on the terrace!!

Would love to see the Mount that packed again though one day. It was an amazing atmosphere.

Castleford have released half back Brett Seymour. Could he be the surprise half back? A player (in normal circumstances) Batley would not have a chance of signing.
