How very criptic.

Could the aforementioned Ernie, be talking about Luke Ambler by any chance?

Maybe 1. We don't need anymore forwards and 2. The club may be searching for quality players that will improve our team.
Saying that l reckon we might be short of a full 17 of any calibre this weekend.

Please god no more forwards . Not holding my breath for any new players and wouldn't be a surprise to see linners at full back on Saturday . We should have recruited better in November in the backs im not buying into the expecting hardly a ban for faal or Campbell there was no excuses , then was the time to recruit backs not at the season start when players are signed up and other clubs and players can hold you to ransom even more . Not sure it helped with the coach saying on the radio we have 1 player and maybe 2 the other week of which 1 would raise an eyebrow or two . Just sign them up then announce like dewsbury don't get fans hopes up when they collapse . Our backs need strengthening everyone knows but we only have ourselves to blame for not acting earlier . Simples !!

1.hes had ample enough time to search and sign new recruits, 2.he knew cambell and faal was getting bans so he shouldnt of played them in any pre season games so he should of recruited before the pre-season. imo

How do you know what ample time is to recruit anyone and how do you know that he (whoever he may be) knew they would receive bans?

Just maybe players of the right caliber weren't available at a price we could afford. Maybe.

Because anyone with half a brain knows you can't gamble on your own team when you play for them,

Kear knew all this and chose to ignore it and try and muddle through and now we are paying the price

So why are the very same players a couple of the ones we have approached recently ? What was wrong with Shaun squires in November ? If he is good enough now why wasn't he then ? Same applies to a couple more . Paul Harrison must be tearing his hair out we are down to the bare bones . Faal did nothing anyway so whether he got banned or not there was no harm in signing a player in his position . Campbell is a class act but it's self inflicted from the club in general as far as I am concerned it's not all money related but a couple are .

One name suggested to the club is that of a Leeds-based amateur threequarter who, after a season or so away, is looking to get back into the pro game. I've no doubt whatsoever that he'd be the best centre on our books. The club has been passed his name, lets see what happens......
