Having been down to the game, it was horrific for all concerned. The welcome we received from everyone at the Scorps was fabulous, either in the Maltsters or the ground. We were very impressed with what the Scorps have done, every shop in the town seemed to have a poster in the window advertising the game, people were enthusiastic about the future of SW, The weather was a definate leveller but credit to both sides for trying to produce an entertaining game in the worst conditions, i said at the time i thought it may have been called off a bit earlier due to player safety concerns but the right decision was definately made in the end. Great atmosphere and speeches after the game, summed up what RL is all about. Good luck for the rest of the season to all concerned at SW Scorpions, see you all at Whitebank.
