Never really thought anything about Barrow but looking at their last result and that squad I just think they'll have to much for us.
Maybe playing to impress the new coach will see us keep it close but I'm going for 28-14 Barrow win.

Should be a very good game, both coming off our last games with wins. I would hope since we are at home that we should see it through and get a win.

I will go :
Barrow 22-18 workington
First try: dalton grant
Attendence: 1197
Mom: Harrison

Always a very difficult game to win away, but I think our players will step it up a gear for the new coach. Who knows there maybe even a new face or two to bolster the pack by the time Sunday arrives.
Barrow 16 - Town 26.
The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

I think it will be tight, looks like another poor weekend weather wise so when theres 2 fairly matched sides it comes down to who plays the conditions best. Either team by 10 then.

Heard off a lad at work that the A595 through Kirby and Askam is shut over the weekend (and has been over the last couple of weekends), means going down to Greenodd and going into Barra that way if you are planning on going down the road to hell (aka as the A595) plan extra time.

Rugby League must be a great game to survive the fools at the RFL who run it.

It's either Choccy or the other irritant who got banned off last season.....can't remember what he posted as but he was just as annoying.

I would take a bonus point on Sunday, but see no reason why we can't go down there and win for a change, it's funny how we struggle down there and they find it difficult up here. I blame that bloody journey !!!! Always enjoy my day out at Barrow but can't make it on Sunday, best of luck boys.

No Troutmaster, only if you come down through Muncaster, Broughton etc

Too late.   Big Ginge has gone on loan at London Skolars from Crusaders.  Haha.

That's Big Ginge Ryan Mac not our Big Red.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
