TotalRL Tipping Competition NRL 2014

Season Summary

Part 4: Poll Winning Awards - Frequency

In every round's competition there's a poll that asks for a judgement to be made about the outcome on a different aspect of the games.

We vote for one of the options and as in the other categories an animated award is presented weekly in the season to the poll winner or winners.

This award is more frequently shared perhaps than any of the other awards.

Each page in my folder records the choices we tipsters make in all aspects of the competitions and what the outcomes were.

The thirty poll competitions in the NRL season and finals series produced the following results:

As in the other ladders where two people have a shared score they are listed in alphabetical order but are of course equal.

1= JimBronco 9

1= Stoney100 9

3= Barney 8

3= Thirteenthman 8

5= G Las D 7

5= Kiwityke 7

5= Railway End 7

5= Simon Kerr 7

9 Southstander13 6

10 Bourbon Rat 5

11= Oikee 4

11= R L Winger 4

11= Lounge Room Lizard 4

11= Marv Woodburn

11= Rugby Female 4

16 Niall 0

Our top pollsters then for the NRL 2014 season are JimBronco and Stoney100

TotalRL Tipping Competition NRL 2014
Season Summary

Part 4: League Leadership Awards - Frequency

Six different clubs topped the NRL during the NRL's 26 regular round running up to the Minor Premiership

I wonder if you could name them from memory?

Ah well before we go down that road here's the clubs who did top the ladder during 2014

1 Manly Warringah Sea Eagles - 10 weeks

2 Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs 6 weeks

3 Penrith Panthers 4 weeks

4 St George Illawarra Dragons 3 weeks

5 Gold Coast Titans 2 weeks

6 Sydney Roosters 1

So the team who only managed it once timed it right to claim the Minor premiership.

Interesting category!

Most often leaders: Manly

Minor Premiers Sydney Roosters
