I notice in the ad for a new coach in the rugby league press the the logo shown is the Barrow town crest rather than the Raiders logo.
Is the town crest the real logo? If so why not use it?
Wigan seem to use their town crest.

Get rid of the crappy ball on fire logo and let's have the old style club crest back looks miles better .

The flaming ball looks like it's been done on a ZX spectrum .

I agree with tec,the club crest looks much better!

Put the club crest back onto the shirt and have the Raiders logo on the shorts if we must, keeps people happy?

Like it or not, the Raiders Logo was designed to appeal to the Fans of the future, not those stuck in the past.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it!

I personally like both logos. I am a fan of the past and I am also one for the future, however given the choice I would prefer the original crest / badge on playing /supporters shirts ..

How about a quick survey with all the fans under 21's see what they like or prefer, after all they are the future of the Club!

Why does it matter, i couldnt care what we had on our shirt as long as the lads wearing it are doing a good job!

It's what's inside the shirt that really matters.   ;)

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

I just wondered why the "Old" crest was used not the new logo
Bit of a rhetorical question really.
