Hi mate,


I watched most of the game Saturday and thought you were good value for the win.


Not sure if Brotherton underestimated you but that was the worst defence they have shown all season.


Having said that, most of the players thought you played a good standard, better than some of the teams they play in the Pennine league.


Anyway, all the best for the final!!!

was a good day out for us and good to play a side we have not come up against before.

Hopefully well be firing a bit better come the start of our season and the final.

Not a snide comment but a genuine question. How did Gateshead end up in the Selby local cup? (and congratulations on making the final).

One of our committee mentioned it, so we enquired and were accepted.

Hopefully the comp can grow next season as we have really enjoyed it and played some sides that we would normally not get a chance to play.
