Castleford Tigers has requested the following information from Batley Bulldogs regarding parking and general advice.

Batley Bulldog's Stadium is on Heritage Road - a short side road off Victoria Avenue which is a hill running left off Wellington Street near Batley Town Centre and at the side of Fox's Biscuits Factory.

Stadium Parking

250 places are available at the Stadium off Heritage Road which are allocated on a first come basis at a cost of £2. You will need to get there early to save a place.

Nearby Parking

Apart from any available roadside parking which is very limited, Batley have a car park up Victoria Avenue on the day marked "Gate 10" which is part of Fox's Biscuit and they have limited spaces there at £2.

All coaches can park "free" on Victoria Avenue marked "Gate 5" on the left just up the hill. There is no coach parking at the Stadium which is a short walk away (albeit uphill!)

Other than that there is parking off Wellington Street near town centre or near Frontier on Bradford Road which then involve short walks up Victoria Avenue and Taylor Street respectively (uphill again!)

Disabled Parking

Batley do have a few disabled parking bays at the Stadium but to secure such a place you will need to arrive by no later than 1pm or they will be taken.

General Advice

Please arrive EARLY to give sufficient time to park any car or coach, walk up to and enter the Stadium well in time for kick-off. Gates are open at 12pm and inside the Stadium there are ample bar and food facilities to enable you to eat, drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

After the match the draw for the next round will be broadcast live on the PA system behind the Glen Tomlinson Stand where again there are food and drink facilities available to enjoy.

For safety reasons viewing will be restricted to the part of the ground stated on your ticket and there will be no changing ends at half-time. Also spectators are reminded to keep off the pitch at all times; any transgression will mean you will have to leave the ground. We want everybody to watch a great game of Rugby League and enjoy the day.
