#GoodTimes

Good afternoon everyone,

On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank you all for your fantastic support that you have given the players in our home and away fixtures this year. Your support has been growing each week and I know the players really appreciate it.

Our thanks must also go to our most recent challengers, Batley Bulldogs, who superbly hosted us in the Tetley's Challenge Cup fourth round on Sunday. They performed admirably on the field and their hospitality to our players, coaches and supporters was marvellous.

The next few weeks will undoubtedly be a tough period with the fixtures coming thick and fast, starting with St Helens at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Friday night. The game is a top of the table clash and we are well aware of how good the Saints can be on their day, but we know how good we can be too. Let's get there in our numbers and show everyone just what a superb club we have here at the Tigers in what promises to be a classic encounter.

As you are probably aware we have disclosed plans for a new stadium, leisure, country park and an enabling retail development near to Junction 32 of the M62. This project is being superbly managed from the club's side by Jack and Ian Fulton and Mark Grattan who have been working closely with all the key development parties. Click here to find out more information about the final public exhibition which will be held at St Giles Church, Pontefract on Monday evening.

There are some exciting times ahead for our club and I want you all to be a part of it and share in its progress. Remember, Castleford Tigers is not an organisation you join; it is a family where you belong - I'm looking forward to a family re-union this Friday.

Regards Steve
