Sounds like Belly struggling with injury, but Minikin, Ford, Golden & Morrison possibly fit so we could be nearly full strength, maybe would like to see Harry Carters pace in there somewhere

Might get some clues on Thursday night - under 20's at home to Halifax - 8pm kick off

Incredibly quit here! Decent performance, need to cut out the knock ons. Didn't mind them going for it on the 5th tackle a few times, at least then they had to play the ball 3m from their line instead of getting a 20 tap. Their number 8 was a big (understatement) lad wasn't he!

Think whoever got put on report for tipping Macdonald could be facing a few match ban, looked pretty nasty.

It's time to park the camels.

I was wondering why no one was commenting on here too. It was a strange performance really , a bit stop start and not helped by numerous stoppages for injuries. We must put some good power into our tackles cos at one point the Skolars were falling down after each one.

We always looked likely to do good work when spinning the ball out wide. Some forward passes were awarded against us but how often do we see the opposition "getting away with one". The coach has said the moves were still a work in progress and so we shouldn't grumble at the less than perfect execution of them in this game.

Thought James Haynes did some great tackles too when the defensive line was broken and was almost perfect under the high ball. His jinking runs are eye catching too. Also credit to Benn Hardcastle for the goal kicking , cant do better than get them all over , it makes a huge difference to the score when the tries are converted.

It was nice to be able to watch the final quarter of the game with no danger of losing the game, having had a nerve wracking end to the previous one. Lets hope the team can move into next weeks game in confident mood and get the momentum back.

Thought it was an OK performance.

Number of candidates for MOM including Haynsie, Ed Smith, Jack Lee and James Saltonstall.

Referee spoilt the game with his constant desire to be involved.

He called one knock on against Greg Minikin which was hopelessly incorrect.

Enjoyed watching Ryan Mac, it will be a shame when he retires and is lost to the game - great character and a smashing bloke off the field.

Talked to Jas Golden after the game and he's definitely not given up on his shoulder.

You're right, HP, Benn's goalkicking was superb.

Agree with Andy completely on the MOM stuff & the overall game, but a mention for Nathan Harper - thought he went really well & maybe should have had more minutes - the sort of big lad we really need

Understand we were trying some different tactics & a different way of going forward so it will take time, just thought we went wide too much before we had actually gone forward, also need more of Pat Smith's short kicks when we get close to there line, got tries & repeat sets from them so far this season so keep doing it
