Some good news for the players at last regarding the showers. I wonder if a few stayaways will come back now they see what CH is up against:

Talking of wet, assume it will be a mud bath on Sunday after all the rain
Also remember having problems parking down the side & behind the posts when it was wet last time we came, if I park on the estate roads will my wheels still be there when we go back?

What a load of rubbish .. Talking to various experts , different possible solution etc etc. battling for 2 years with the problem.....
Its about money, a simple problem that could easily be fixed ...reading between the lines the grant from the RFL appears to be the real reason this has been fixed.
Again another example of how much CH cares for his employees (about the same as his reducing number supporters and the growing band of followers).
Maybe Roughyed 34 and his BIG buddy CH could put some spin on that and make a statement about the rapidly growing number of ORL followers - That would be positive news!

At least this is one regular whinge that we won't have to endure any longer ... but in addition think of the endless list of new revenue streams that free flowing water at Whitebank could generate ....paddy fields behind the goals at the bottom end .....water features to rival the Tivoli Gardens or even better the Trafford Centre or Piccadilly Gardens ...but then again maybe not ... the non payment of the water bill would probably lead to another winding up order ...

“We have had ongoing problems for some time with regard to water pressure and the facility to store sufficient water." - There's a leak in our tank.
"Over a good period of time we have been in discussions with various companies, experts and the RFL with the intention of coming up with a solution" - For months we've been looking for a plumber who was cheap enough or asking the RFL to pay for it.
“We have been given differing opinions and possible solutions, which have merely added to our concerns, but a few weeks ago we got in a mechanical engineer who gave us a definitive outline of what needed to be done." The quotes for the job weren't all the same and some people said it might not be fixable, but a new bloke has now said he can fix it.
“Preliminary work started the week before last and the remainder will be completed in time for the new system to be up and running for this Sunday’s game against York" - He turned off the water two weeks ago. I've since got the RFL cash so we can fix it now.
“The Facilities Trust is all about helping to improve facilities at the grounds of our community clubs and our Championships clubs. It’s what we are there for. We wish Oldham well with this important project.” - We're here to bail out the inept, let's hope they can manage a plumbing contract. Cos if they can't, we won't sanction games at Whitebank.
