I was at the game to day and got to say annakin was the best he gave it every thing hard game to watch at times but got the win hays got is work cut out only time will tell

we had Annakin on loan 2 years ago and were set to get him on a season long loan in pre season this year until he got injured. The lad gives 100% all the time. He will be a great player for you.

many think we have a worse squad than last year but with vievers in charge he's getting everything out of our very small squad. And we seem a better unit with only 1 or 2 Wigan players rather than the likes of dudson and Hughes who don't give a ###### about town. See you in a couple of months at sunny derwent park.

thanks for the long range forecast wonky

Well I'm going to stand up for the players after yesterday, how many people in work could cope with 5 or 6 new managers within a 12 month period and deal with alterations to work practices and still put their heart into the job. Yesterdays performance was patchy to say the least, but if they had no pride in what they do that game would have been lost. Now we've got Andy Hay in charge are people going to stop looking back at what we had and give this squad a proper chance to get on with playing for Featherstone Rovers and hopefully get us back on track.

Of course it is, except when it's raining. lol

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Can someone clear something up here?  Workington is in Cumbria right? So why were some fans chanting for Lancashire? They merge or something?

Last time I checked Lancashire and Cumbria were seperate counties.

100% agree! they've shown unbelievable character and loyalty to the cause through all the adversity. Great set of lads.
