Four players have been charged with offences committed in First Utility Super League Round 14 fixtures.

Justin Carney of Castleford has been charged with Grade C punching in the 57th minute against Widnes Vikings in a match played on Sunday May 25.

Carney does not have the option of submitting an Early Guilty Plea so will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal this evening.

Paddy Flynn of Widnes Vikings has been charged with Grade C punching in the 57th minute of the same fixture.

Chris Annakin of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats has been charged with the Grade D offence of making a dangerous throw on Warrington Wolves player Roy Asotasi in the 38th minute of a match played on Sunday May 25.

Ben Westwood of Warrington Wolves has been charged with the Grade D offence of making a dangerous throw on Wakefield player Scott Anderson in the fourth minute of the same fixture.

All four were charged after the incidents were scrutinised by the RFL Match Review Panel.

Flynn has until 11.00am today to submit an Early Guilty Plea. Annakin and Westwood do not have the option of submitting EGPs and will appear before the independent disciplinary tribunal.

The Match Review Panel also issued a formal caution to Matt Cook of London Broncos for making dangerous contact with Michael Weyman of Hull KR in a fixture played on Sunday May 25.
