Castleford Tigers' star James Clare was amongst those present at the latest Touch Rugby League competition at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle last week.

The action takes place every Tuesday night at the home of Castleford Tigers from 6pm, and costs just £2.50 per person to enter each week. Participants can enjoy the social benefits that come from playing sport, and can profit from increased physical activity in their day-to-day lives.

Everyone involved enjoyed another great night in the newly established Touch10League, with Clare taking an active role throughout the night that saw him putting in some quality field time for all of the member teams, before signing autographs and posing for photographs.

Clare also presented Fryston players with a signed match-worn shirt from Lee Gilmour for raising money towards their next subscription in the July league, and also presented a box of chocolates to Lucy and Jaine Hart who make tea and coffee for everyone in attendance every week.

As well as the men's competition, we are also looking to form a ladies team for a new league which starts in the summer. Anyone interested in getting involved in either genders competition the action should call Keith Bullimore on 07952 170 426 or through email.
