Either him or Manfredi on the Stack - Brett fringe will really give us a side to hit . I hope one of them plays here more regularly and injects some much needed zip in the second half of the season . It really has been a problem . If they get a fitter squad 2 backs would be even more welcome . Tierney being part of that .Our pack has done better than some of us thought , but behind that we haven't got value for our opportunities , and so it's a struggle to post points and get a grip on games .

It doesn't sound as if it will be a one off either. Real shame if it's for our away games as it could of attracted a few casual fans down to derwent park to see him.

Hopefully they shift mossop back to centre when charnley is available. The one who has to miss out is connor, he's just anonymous in every game, never makes a break, and dosent come in looking for work like the rest of the backs. After a really good start to the season he has been the biggest disappointment

I never understand how a bloke with a lead boot and who can bomb it into orbit never comes in on last tackle and does it .Or tries a 40/20 . His boot is a weapon which we don't use nowadays . If in doubt get it bombed . We must start asking more consistent questions at the back of our sets

is it there not asking him to or is he not putting his hand up to take them? As the only specialist centre that gets played there he isn't delivering I'm afraid.

I think hes carrying a knock David, which is why Carl has been kicking goals.

Shaun Wane quote today : ' all the returning players will get a chance and it's fair game . If they're not with me they're with Phil at Workington. The players seem to love it there. In the next few weeks they're going to have a really good team at Workington ' .

So he's saying we haven't got a good team now? Cheers Shaun. It would be nice to get a big name or 2 up at the fev game, get some numbers on the crowd.

if a player isn't performing and there's a world class player available then I think they do.

Not just Charnley possibly available!
Wigan Warriors welcomed back Ben Flower, Dan Sarginson, Liam Farrell and McIlorum to the squad to face Castleford Tigers in the quarter finals of the Tetley's Challenge Cup on Saturday. The returning quartet replaces Darrell Goulding, Scott Taylor, Sam Powell and Connor Farrell.
Possibly nice to have choices if our injured heroes need a rest!

Nice choices . Two or three to boost our squad and this could be our upset win we've needed .

Well Farrell will be a definite, along with Murphy and charnley so that leaves 2 places. Taylor and goulding would be excellent but can't see Taylor allowed up, maybe Sam Powell again. Wouldn't argue with any of them.

Thought that said Will Ferrell when I read that !!! That would get a few through the turnstiles !!! Agreed though , no one is knocking our guys as they're flogging their pans out - but as we've seen with lack of luck we've had and the fact we can't buy a break in tight crucial games especially - you've gotta help yourself as no one else is gonna , and DR is the big joker in the pack a lot of teams are going to play ...
