Midlands RL Lionhearts land in Russia today for a two game series against a Moscow City side at Red Arrow stadium before facing a Moscow Regional side in Vereya.

When you say "Moscow City", is that a city selection, rather than a standalone club?

We won our first game 36-16 and lost the second 60-16.

Were the 2nd opponents manifestly superior to the first or did Russian hospitality and vodka mess you up ? ;)

The former, coupled with the latter and a two day turnaround with 19 men. Winning isnt the important thing tho, its experience for all which was positive.
