Doncaster player coach Paul Cooke spoke to the official website ahead of Sunday's trip to Barrow Raiders.

The Dons are looking for their third win on the bounce after successive victories against Rochdale Hornets and Swinton Lions.

However Cooke is expecting a tough battle, with Barrow having everything to play for anguishing to finish in the top nine to reach the second tier of Super League next season.

Cooke said: "The more the season goes on and the longer you are in that bottom five, the more desperate teams will get.

"Swinton, Barrow and Rochdale are all desperate along with the other two teams who occupy those bottom five positions.

"It is a real scrap this year and it is difficult.

"When you play these teams, they can come up with these extra special efforts because they are desperate.

"We need to be professional in our approach and what we do.

"We can't control what other teams do, but we can control what we do and the intensity that we play at and will will have to be all out against Barrow on Sunday."
