Richard Whiting spoke to the official website after making his Doncaster debut in the 10-22 away victory at Barrow Raiders.

Whiting joined the Dons on the dual registration system from Hull FC in a bid to regain match fitness after recovering from injury.

The Hull FC man believes the Dons can take a lot away from the result.

“It’s a massive win, speaking to Paul Cooke, the thing for Doncaster is to try and finish as high as possible.

“It is a great three points and keeps Doncaster in third position and gives the club a building block to go into next week against Featherstone.

“I am really grateful for Doncaster for allowing me to come and it is great we have managed to get the win.”
