But they're mostly from individual errors or lapses, like spilt kicks ,as PV has mentioned . And they kick you in the guts . He again talked about silliness , being smarter , half backs taking control, nearly moments , throwing away possession , and repeating things week after week . Put big emphasis on the half time try . All the stuff he says is great , but I often wonder if he's striving for things this set of players just can't deliver over a full 80 minutes . He says the same things but we do the same things .

Just looking at the remaining fixtures of all the teams from 7th down in the table I believe all is not lost IF we get that little bit of help from Wigan that we have been lacking.    Some of the teams around us have still some very hard away matches to play whilst our hardest is at Leigh and it's our last away match when we will probably know our fate.

Keighley have to go to Sheffield, Halifax, Leigh, Swinton, Barrow and Dewsbury.    Batley have to go to Town, Fev, Sheffield, Haven and Doncaster.

Crusaders are away to Batley, Fev, Sheffield, Rochdale, Keighley and Barrow,     Swinton have Barrow, Dewsbury, Doncaster, Sheffield and Batley.

Haven have Doncaster, Barrow, Halifax, Town, Sheffield, and Swinton.    Town have Swinton, Keighley, Crusaders, Doncaster and Leigh.

No easy games for any away from home but some just a little bit easier than others.    We need that fresh blood in the squad whether it comes from Wigan or from loans as it says in todays League Weekly, but one way or the other it has to happen now.

He was woeful for us last year. Wed be better off with a rookie Wigan prop on the bench than a hooker a half back and two players who's best position is debatable

What about Tom Walker on loan from Warrington bod?
Forget Chuck and Chad I am the real legend killer

I'm still waiting for this unattached player who's coming in two or three weeks ... That was , er , two or three weeks ago . It's just beyond a joke now . We've gone from a thousand names being thrown around to total silence . At the most vital time . Every article about teams talks about signings and scouting about , but never us that I see . Other sides have managed to strengthen . What happened on the French thing ?We constantly have the phone to the ear we hear -maybe nows the time to plug it in .Anyone out there... Help !!!

In the League Weekly PV is quoted as saying he wants a second row and a winger and one other on loan deals.    Every week other clubs are shown as signing player after player and either we don't have the contacts or we haven't approached any.

I'd have thought we had second row covered better than most teams ? Pacy backs and a creative influence would be top of my list . Hopefully some front row beef comes , as long promised , from Wigan . Bit of quality in key spots would make a hell of a difference to us , with the effort we put in .

I think stack in his games at centre played very well, and if we could get someone to replace him in the second row id have him in the centres

It's all opinions Scott , and they all count , but I disagree . To me he's an out and out strong , ball carrying second row . He's filling at centre due to necessity . His strength is his running game out wide , hitting the line . Centre is a specialist position , that needs a bit more subtlety and good passing and link with the winger . To me Jarrad isn't always using options around him . That's no criticism , he bends the line . Playing Stack and Phillips had positives , but it put all our eggs on one flank .Gelling was an ideal example of a centre with all the tools . Joy to watch him play . But that's PV ' s job , to maximise what he has . Either way we're stretching our best players to fill our holes , and they're feeling the strain . Guys like stack , Matty and Brett are Trojans and need some strain taking off them sharpish . They can't plug all the gaps .
Bit of extra quality in key spots to sharpen us can help close those small margins . Hopefully they finally arrive for the big push !

I don,t think there is a cat in hells chance of MR WANE letting us have them, but in my opinion we badly need 2 props, and a stand off, that would make the 5, with Tierney and Murphy also give shacks a spell ,the lad is knocking imself to bits at prop?

That's the problem abu, Shacks and one or two others will be burned out in the not too distant future unless we look after them with some additions to the squad.   These lads are knocking their pans in every week.

Dead right . If you look at it really , we had one natural prop in our matchday 17 . Abu is right , this league is brutal. God knows who rotated at prop on Sunday . Poor old Rooney again ? Props , a half and two backs is something we dream about getting off messers Wane and Radkinski . Unfortunately we've been collateral damage of their injury strife , and their natural caution in risking any more .

I'm with Scott on this one David, I'm liking jarred at centre. He has every attribute to be very good in the centres, pace, power, defence, good hands, good awareness of what's around him and can take a high ball better than anyone.

To be fair I think he could give a decent account of himself virtually anywhere on the pitch so If PV thinks he will get the best out of him at centre I'm all for it.

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

As frustrating as it is to just be just picking up bonus points every Sunday, if someone had said 4 weeks ago that we would pick up 3 points from a nightmare run of games, we would have laughed at them. Full credit to our small squad for their magnificent efforts, it's sounds like most of them are running their blood to water for the shirt, which is all we can ask of them. If we hadn't threw away the home games against Keighley and crusaders we would be in a very good position.

Let's hope the lad's have got enough gas in the tank to challenge Fev on Sunday, the way we have been playing a win isn't out of the question but I would be happy with a bonus point as long as we can win our home games against Barrow, haven, Dewsbury, Rochdale and Batley. The only worry for me is keeping our top performers fit until the end of the season, losing any one of them would be a disaster,

Let's get behind them on Sunday,  UP THE TOWN

Yep , fair enough voodoo . As unicorn says we need them on the pitch first and foremost doing what they do . We can't handle any injury bad luck on top of all our bad luck !

The last 5 games have been lost but a bonus point has been gained at each game
We'd have been happy with a win (Crusaders) and an odd bonus point from this run of 5 games, so the lads are doing well currently. Add to that 5 points from the previous 2 games - Rochdale away and Halifax at home and its 10 points from 7 games, mostly against top sides, so there has been an improvement. Its the earlier games, where the fixture list was more favourable where the under-performance has taken place

When you add to thst the squad size, the injuries and the vagaries of the DR relationship with Wigan then I'd say that the small squad is performing very well and PV is getting just about the best out of the troops he has available.
As someoone has pointed out, I think a couple of injuroes to crucial players such as Stack, Brett and Matty could be the downfall to the season.
Its a fine line now whether we stay up now.

Agree with most of the previous, the crusaders defeat was a big disappointment but fair play to PV and the lads they have busted their guts to come out of this run of games as they have. We cannot keep knocking Wigan they have their priorities, we went with a squad do 19 ,that's the issue lets just keep behind the lads, and fingers crossed regarding injuries
