Alex Starling spoke to the official website following Doncaster's dramatic 22-22 draw with Featherstone Rovers.

The result means Doncaster are now undefeated in their last four matches in the Kingstone Press Championship.

Starling was at the heart of the attack which resulted in Doncaster's last second try, providing the cross field kick for Richard Whiting to score.

He joked “It will be my first and only career kick”

“It was a bit of a fluke off the boot and I can't even remember kicking it, it just happened in the heat of the moment.

“There is the obvious jubilation of going over in the last minute and when the kick has come to steal it, but unfortunately it wasn't to be to get the win.

“Dave Scott has kicked lots all day today and throughout the season and has slotted most of them, even from the touchline, but he is going to miss the odd one.”
