Doncaster player coach Paul Cooke spoke further to the official website following his sides draw with Featherstone.

Cooke was clearly delighted with his players and the heart they have been playing with throughout the season.

He said: "We have a really solid foundation of players and certainly as a group we are a tough nut to crack.

"Again today we showed the character and desire of our team to hang on in there and keep Featherstone out is first class from my players.

"There are not too many won or drawn like that.  In my career it is normally over before the last five minutes, it very rarely goes to the last play of the game.

"We had a chance to pinch it with Dave Scott's kick, but he's pulled it wide and is disappointed about that, but he has kicked three pearler’s out of four.

"We fully deserved what we took away from the game, the character and desire of my players taking the field every week is something to behold and be joyful about."
