Rumours a rife that Jarrod Sammuts arrival at Featherstone has signalled the end of George at Fev.

Hearing whispers hes on his way back to the Mount.

I do hope so.

I heard that both him and Moore have signed on there for next season. Announced at one of their press announcements today.

Would the signing of Sammut have an impact on GF?

They haven't actually signed Jarrod Sammut on dual registration yet. Faisal Nahgonnaleaveemwiapenny has got to 'make some phonecalls' before it happens.

it will happen,not sure when but george will be back for sure.dont think we need moore strutting about again thinking hes the man of the moment when hes pap, but george off the bench would be a fantastic ploy and we would see off some teams we lost against this season. might have to wait a while yet for one a the best players to wear a batley shirt. :bb:

Flanagan has been the only good player we got from you and if he goes back to you he will improve your team. ( he also improves ours before someone says anything ) Cannot see it this season though unless he asks

Moore and Flanagan along with Hirst where signed on two years contract so are contracted to be at Featherstone next season. I would be happy with Blake,Nicholson and Leak resigning for next season in the hooking position.

I'd love to see George back at the Mount. However, perfectly happy with Blake & Nico at the moment. Both improving.

Couldn't agree more. Nicholson has great hands, and Blake had a terrific game on Sunday, particularly when playing loose forward.

 sorry hes not in same league as flanny.check out donny game were its a close thing with 6 minutes left and he couldent even pass the ball to rowie on a charge that would a won us game, and even the eagles game a simple pickup of the ball at play a ball under sticks to win us the game he dropped and we wont get a better chance a beating eagles again for a while,he did come with great wraps and he as now got into is stride and will be good for us thats a cert. flanny is the finished article whos workrate is massive,the sheer will to win is 110% every game and if fev let him go there mad. if you think am wrong just grab a dvd of the dews game fev lost and have good look at the last 18 minutes play were they made one hell of a blunder with their new coachs tactics or lack of them. game was their to be won and george is running up and down touchline chomping at the bit to get on,hes still running up and down with 9 left on clock. and hes sick as a parrot at 1 minute to go cos the lad knew it were their for the taking but fev made one hell of a blunder and dident put him on...a waste of one a the best players have seen come into championship for a lot a years besides walmsley and it might just come back to bite fev at end a season that loss./ anyways more a same for sunday against barrow as they wont be no pushovers, i were looking forward to bobby have a run out but hes banned. :bb:

As George is contracted to Fev they no doubt will be asking for a fee to allow him to play for another club. Should Batley be using their meagre resources on such a deal when Blake and Nicholson are now showing the type of form that JK believed they were capable of when he signed them?

In terms of his all-round game, Nicholson is a better option at the minute. Blake is an absolute workhorse, and adds a nice contrast. Flanagan was good for us (beyond any doubt), but he's gone - and not for the first time. Some of us clearly need to get over it. And as for saying Gareth Moore is 'pap' - come off it. The bloke scored about 40 tries in around 80 games and could boot a goal from anywhere. A divisive figure maybe - a 'pap' player he is not. That's coming from someone who was hardly his biggest fan.

nowt to not like about the lad to be fair,but his main problem was he thought he were better than championship and made no secret a telling folks he were "too good for us",far too many times his mind were on a move elsewere and it showed in his games,he got pushed on his rear far too many times when it mattered,he loved his self too much but he could play well when his mind were on the job, how many fans were on his back when tommy saxton ran  at him when he were busy doing his quiff,he thought he were that cool he had time but rock on tommy showed him up good style, look at his game week after that without his snazzy hairdoo the lad had an awesome game and proved he can play when he wants, backward step if he comes back for me, yep he were decent for us but could we have had better at the time.. :pickeat: :ph34r:

There wouldnt be a fee involved, they are desperate to get players off the books to get the wage bill down. They've * been offering players plus cash to clubs in an attempt to do this.

Its like Koukash x 1000 at Featherstone, wont be long until they are rebranded Cloud Cuckoo Land Rovers.

They must be close to breaking Warren Jowitt's all time record for players used in a season.

* allegedly
