They'll give it some thought once the split has been decided. Then we'll have the joy of Hull and Wigan (for example) not being able to play their home fixtures at home because the football fixtures will be locked in.

I can't see them being able to leave it that late. Don't the Police have to be consulted. And the footy fixtures will be a real problem. What if clubs decide to rent out their premises for events. Wedding at Wigan one year if I remember. Is there a one week gap going to be planned, CC perhaps?

At least 4 of the 12 SL2 clubs will be FT, and if Fax/Doncaster crash the top2 then that will increase

I hope the Overseas is maintained at 1, but certainly no more than 2 in that division, and that a number of SL later developing academy players not retained find a FT home here

I think next year Jeopardy returns and there is a lot to get excited about

the sad thing about how they carved up the tv money from the new tv deal is theres enough money in the pot to give ALL the championship clubs £1m so they could all go full time

SL clubs could have got £2 per year....a 66% increase

champ clubs could have got £1m per year....a 1000% increase

and champ1 could have got £250k per year...a 200% increase

that would have left the RFL with £4-5m left per season to us for whatever it liked...development,promotion...whatever

but nevermind...just another wasted opportunity

I think you'll find that's a 99.9999994% decrease in SL income!

You're assuming that you're not going to get promoted then?

Ah. I hadn't thought about ground issues. I assumed you were thinking of the Oldham Playoff Curse.
