Tables indicate that barring a world catastrophe, Leigh have most likely got the title sewn up. We are going to be pushed to the limits in order to hold onto second spot, taking into consideration the small points difference between the two clubs below us, namely Halifax and Donny.

It has now got to the stage whereby we cannot afford to drop another precious point.

It is certainly sweaty palm time.

I understand the reason for finishing in the top two £ but I just hope we settle down and improve week on week After the start to the season the club has made big changes as things didn't go to plan and if we do make second I will be more than happy To think 12 month ago all people were moaning about was us not winning the grand finals and that the league means nothing

Out of interest does anyone know what the Grand final is worth this year

It was £50,000 for the winners and £30,000 to the runners up. I cannot find prize money for this season.

It is substantial. I have seen the figures but can't remember the sums. It was a hell of a lot more than in the past.

I heard the GF winner gets £40k and third/fourth place league is about £200k, Championship league leader gets £25k too
