I agree with that LRL. Put it this way the needs of the team should come first.
I expect Bellyache to make the right decision.
He will be under pressure to play him if Coops says he's up to playing through loyalty and experience.
Cronk was initially expected to be out for up to three months with a suspected broken arm. However, the injury wasn't as bad as first thought and Cronk has been fastidious in his rehabilitation in an attempt to come back as soon as possible. The Maroons playmaker, whose long-range field goal secured last year's Origin series, suffered the knock early in the opening interstate game and was sorely missed in that and the second encounter.
Naturally Cooper will want to play in Origin 3 and if he plays in this game against the Dragons he will be putting himself in the frame for the game against NSW.

Just seen video - thanks BR - where Bellyache scotches rumours that Cooper Cronk will play. He says Coops is stilt 2 or 3 weeks away from playing.
