Murphy and Burke don't make the 17 man for Wigan so could turn out for town

I think we can forget Charnley now , but hopefully it should free up Manfredi in weeks to come. 5 props in their 17 to . Tony Clubb must be on the injured list I guess as well

So were looking at murphy Farrell and Burke plus possibly one other which might be a back if we have no tierney. Goulding seems badly out of favour there.

I'd be shocked if Tierney isn't here

Manfredi left out tonight so you would expect him to be free for town. Fingers crossed, he's looked top quality for Wigan since getting in.

Come on these players deserve your support - let's get to swinton and cheer them on in what is a big game in our quest for survival-

Okay Townie I'm a soft touch, you can count me in  ;) last time I was there it was red hot and watched the game from the club balcony with a few cold ones....very nice afternoon..

So Lewis Tierney is back in the Wigan juniors ? I've found that aspect of things very strange this season . Players seemingly available but not ending up here . Players like him are way above age grade rugby . You'd think we would be below the Wigan first team in the pecking order for players , but often seemingly we're not . I'm a fan of DR , when it works as it was sold to us , but that's been to rare this season . Been a few issues , in availability and numbers especially , that have been hard to fathom .

I think we'd be better off getting 3 players of our own and telling Wigan to F-off!

I agree David M wholeheartedly. This is where DR does not work whatsoever.
There is no reason why Tierney needs to go and play under 19's other than to bolster the team if they have an important game or have injuries. Tierney has played a few games for us at a much higher level than under 19's - Halifax and Fev recently being examples.
Slight benefit that we have Burke - hope he puts a shift in

Wigans priorities seem to be to have teams strong enough to win there superleague and under 20s games and then look at DR rather than player development.

Doran could have done with town game time last night was a massive leap for him. Is this the last game of mcavoys ban?

Notice Gareth O'Brien is in Warringtons squad on sunday that's a big boost as he has been the catalyst for Swintons revival

Seems that way . Wane has injuries yet always finds young kids to come in and play top SL level!!
I will never understand why there's a shortage of players available in a rugby factory like that . They're there , but don't make it here . Priorities must be the key as you say .

Should be the last game of the ban for Liam on Sun. It was 3 games and he should have taken the early guilty plea route and he'd then have been playing on Sunday.
Bit of a slip-up on that one
