WELCOME
.
This round kicks off on Friday 11th July.
There's just six games to tip this coming weekend.
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
New or occasional entrants are welcome to join us.
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round

ROUND 18 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition:
Our regular poll comp looks at a different aspect each week. This week it's find the game with the closest result:
Which game will produce the smallest margin of victory?
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 6 (that's SIX) winning teams in NRL Round 18 2014

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R18?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Away Win Competition:
How many AWAY wins will there be in NRL R18?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:
Round182014NRL_zps18c9d411.jpg
Byes: Dragons, Roosters, Cowboys and Rabbitohs

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores will be added together as the season progresses to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

The best of luck to everyone.
Enjoy your Rugby League! B)

Hi G, i can't see the Poll thingy on my page, so can't add it, therefore i've just put my Poll answer in my post.

I did post a poll RF, but after editing the title of the topic yesterday on my phone, the poll seems to have disappeared.
I'll have a look, but I think it will have been evacuated down the great shute into the blue yonder.

Yes, it's gone!

Everyone has posted their poll votes so I'll just go by them this week.

:shout:

:resent:   *** By the way everyone, at risk of starting a revolt, I have to say that I can't put the results up for this round until the back end of next week.

I will post the Round 19 comp this weekend so that there's no hold ups for the early pickers.*** :swoon:

I see a fair number of us have used the system proposed by Rugby Female - all homes or all aways,

... though RF hasn't ... :haha:

Somehow don't think Simon and BR have picked the winner in the poll with Eag vs Tig!
If they have then we are in for a lot of big scoring one sided games. Hold on to your bonnets!
