So is it Sykes or the Rochdale lad for stand off? A fit Kain could always fit in at hooker. If all fit how do you at this time see the line up for next season?

If there's one thing this season has taught us, it's that you need cover at half back - Jack Bussey is an admirable player, but we really don't want him filling in again at 6 if someone gets injured next season. Reckon we'll see all the permutations in preseason and go from there. Sykes is versatile so that probably added to his appeal for us.

Does this mean that Keighley are definitely down then - there was some talk of the Championship being 13 teams to accommodate them, but this definitely says 12 teams?

I wouldve thought so

The fixtures are out a week on sunday so you will definately know then

The RFL are supposedly replying to Keighley's questions regarding the points reinstation on Friday (17th). A cynic might think that they've deliberately dragged their heels over the response......

Whichever solution they come up with somebody wont be happy. Looks like the easist is to pay Keighley some brass.
