Can't believe it's come down to this not having a go but surely cambell must of asked for money up front . As a businessman he should have asked for assurance up front be for issuing shares .

I thought that money was paid for the shares, as well as other monies to help pay for taxes and players wages.

The thing is that if the shares have not been paid for then they are worth;ess and so there's no chance of any disruption from him at the next AGM. If what was said is right then he did put some money in to start with and then we got a load of empty promises. A sprat to catch a mackrel sort of exercise. Some may remember I was doubtful about him from the start. We can only repair the damage and move on.

we   may   have   had   a   lucky   escape  ,CAS   were    left   in   a   right   financial   mess    when   feisal   and   poskitt   baled   out   and   look   how   they   have   progressed   in   a   short   time .if   we   all    stick   together   fans   players   and   management    we   should   be   OK.

Fully agree, we all take differing amounts of time to adjust to change - particularly when we don't see it as good.
The fans forum was surely the line in the sand to stop looking backwards and work together to move the club forward. Irrespective of people's opinions of MC, he will never dodge an issue and will put himself forward to answer the questions. Every stone must have now been turned over and every issue done to death.
The Charlatans have gone and are just a bad smell in our long history (go ahead and sue me).We know our finances and liabilities and can plan accordingly.
We still have a club, we will succeed, the only variables are the time it will take and how we judge success. Like others have mentioned on this forum I want this season put to bed (never thought I would ever say that) and
build for next year. Looking forward to taking a few unexpected scalps next year - that's the Rovers I grew up with and my measure of success.

Trying again tonight Robin. It's a flawed plan but I will keep trying. I had a big part of last Tuesdays £43m spent in no time. I lost sleep Monday night worrying if we could get the extended pitch sorted for Boxing Day. We couldn't sign Cameron Smith as he insisted on the No 9 shirt - told him it belonged to Andy Ellis. I need to get out more & stay off the blue cheese.

It will be interesting to see if Donny beat Halifax and they still have their three points deducted. We have been concentrating on our games but our chief rivals also have their problems. Interesting end to the season.

We need to concentrate on ourselves but it's not in the bag yet

Now Donny have their 3 points back they will have 57 points if they beat Halifax. With one game left that leaves Halifax if they get a bonus point on 56. So the maximum then would be 60 for Donny and 59 for Halifax. It follows we need Just one win in those circumstances to get second place. So come on Donny do the trick. We will of course beat Sheffield and Keighley but the win for Donny would take a bit of pressure off and give us the $450K for next season. We will need it.
