"Every cloud has a silver lining"

So here are the rules for this thread...
NO NEGATIVITY ( no mention of clouds!)
NO IF's or BUT's
If any part of your post has any hint of negativity don't post it.
Let's just celebrate the good things. If you have any moans post them on another thread!

I'll start us off......

Our first try last Sunday was brilliant.

The new floodlights are soon to go up, and the old nightclub is soon to come down, oh and the pitch is looking great.

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow– You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out– The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit–
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

well done to everybody behind raising funds for the lights but its a shame the money can't be spent elsewhere as in this age of summer rugby when do we ever need floodlights ? Crazy rules by the RFL

Lost 2 of my best away days. Barrow and north Wales crusaders so make sure you guys get back up next season. You're fans deserve it for the excellent loyalty you've shown despite the poor results.

We know in plenty of time which league we will be playing in next year so we can sign a team accordingly and we are told that our debt will be paid off by the end of this year.

Following the near collapse of the club in 2011 we have been demoted moved up and now to go back down to the bottom but the club is still here

I have enjoyed watching the performances of Dalton Grant and Joe Bullock this season, players who are going to have successful careers in the game. I will be happy to see new floodlights going up and the removal of the eyesore and hopefully more improvments to come through the good work of Keith Nutters developement fund and the generosity of others. It will also be good to be debt free and the club can again make steady improvements on and off the field to once again capture the imagination of the Furness public. Again, well done Bearman.
