Doncaster player coach Paul Cooke spoke to the official website ahead of Sunday's trip to Cougar Park.
The Dons are looking for their fifth successive victory, after great wins against the likes of Leigh, Whitehaven and North Wales Crusaders.
However Cooke admitted his side must improve following last week's display, as 12 man Swinton almost caused a shock upset.
He said: "We rested some players last week, Dave Scott, Scott Spaven and Russ Spiers who I thought deserved a break after the amount of games they have played this season.
"We need to look after our players, we came up trumps against Swinton with the result and we are at that stage where we are able to rest players and record victories which is a positive for us.
"What we have to do in the next six weeks is look after the players energy levels ahead of the play-offs, we have not had a week off since the start of the season.
"Certainly we need to be a lot better at Keighley than we were against Swinton especially as Keighley are now facing a relegation battle, they will be scrapping for every point."
