The T & S have told me that the Town match will be there prominent feature this week, so let's hope for a good crowd.

6 wins in a row and we were still behind haven, Reds and Comets in column inches ! All we got was the fantastic headline of " ATROCIOUS" I bet that convinces a few stay aways to return next Sunday :rtfm:  Remember when haven won 4 on the bang, I think there was a 8 page supplement pull out...or something like that.  ;)

That was the N & S unicorn106 not the T & S who I contacted.   We will have to wait until Friday morning to see their effort.

How many others have sent them an e-mail?

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
