Yes they are playing a Regional Academy Select team at DP on 26th November

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Depends on the age groups . The last match against Cumbria U17's down at Barrow the Aussies were over a year older against a lot of 16 year olds . the academy select will be players not just from Cumbria academy but the other 2 academys too so i would think it could be the top performers out of the 3 academys and given its the same age groups playing each other it could be a close match .
