This is such a sad story and shows the bad side of surrogacy.

People who pay for a baby seem to expect it to be perfect, as if they were buying a car. Well, it's not like that - take your chances like the rest of us.

No "winners" in this tragic and seemingly horrific and inhuman situation..apart from this: An online fundraising campaign so far has raised more than $210,000 (£124,800) to help her with Gammy's medical expenses.

 

One difficulty is in knowing what to believe, who to believe and which primary media outlets to trust.

The Australian father has spent time in gaol for indecent dealing with a child.

Many people here are also horrified that the parents have just gone the denial path and haven't seemed concerned they may have another child in Thailand. No rush to find the boy and clear things up.
