Clarkson set the line speed 90% of the game, defended well (when he got moved the left Oxford broke down the right 3/4 times), had some nice carries and won the ground on pretty much every carry.
Not sure what else you want from him? He's not a 'superstar' player, he's an honest hard working lad and that's what he did today for us.

You can only play the team in front of you. I thought Hunslet were very professional. Good line speed. David March's leadership on the field was again outstanding. For me the only flat periods were when he rightly took a well deserved rest on the subs bench.  Then once again we became a little directionless. I thought Clarkson was OK, especially when acting as second marker at the play the ball. He tackled hard and invariably put his man down. He carried the ball strongly and scored a try. He played most of the match. What more do we expect from him? Biggest surprise for me was that we kicked every goal. 4 for March & 4 for Coyle was pretty good going.

But why play Clarkson when it's the play offs that matter & he won't be allowed to play for us?

With gaps in fixtures some players haven't played for a while & are not upto match speed.
Surely we need to be getting our players ready/prepared.
Appears playing clarkson yesterday was only to benefit Leeds.

If we win all our games and beat York by more than 12 points we win the league. Simples

anyone been impressed with Chris Clough since he came back from on loan ? Looks far fitter than last year, has an offload and a decent pass and gives us options on attack, so far hasn't given any penalties away and in a Rob Roberts/ Danny Fearon sort of way could turn out to be a matchwinner !
