Great initiative.. more opportunities for Fijian locals to get great rugby league experiences, especially with a trip to rugby league mad png.

I'm not use to RL coming up with good ideas! I see the sp hunters won again and that the Fijian RU are getting worried about the growth of RL in Fiji!

It shows that Fiji feel they have reached a point where this sort of event is viable and that their domestic players can take on the might of PNG's champion club side.

If it's in PNG there will probably be quite a bit of media coverage and the game may also be on tv.

Wouldn't it be lovely if it was on TV or at least livestreamed?

You would imagine it'd be livestreamed as it's THE number 1 sport over in PNG. Maybe they can expand it and have a Polynesian cup between Tonga and Samoa and then the winners play off for the Pacific Club Challenge or whatever. Coincidentally I hope the two polynesian sides consider NSW/QLD cup entry as a route to nrl like fiji and png have

Great news, especially the bit about it becoming an annual event instead of a one-off.
